So far, I’ve received my Lusso lithograph, key holder humidor and my Tdf picture book and yellow book. Also received both leather pouches. But both my Lusso and Tdf models are MIA.

Bought my Lusso in July 2017 so it's coming up on a year now and no model in site. Anyone else have the same story?

From what I understand, MR Models is subcontracted by Ferrari. I’d contact MR directly but I’m not sure they build them.

As nice as those models are, I think you should have Amalgam make you some proper 1:8 models. Especially for the F12tdf.

I did not hear that. To the contrary I heard for this year at least they will continue as part of some kind of customer appreciation package.

Wrote MR Models and actually heard back.

Yes the models are still part of the program and should (eventually) receive them. I won’t hold my breath

A friend who just took delivery of a 488 spider told me that he is not expecting a model, just a book and leather folder.

talked to my dealer yesterday. They are still receiving models BUT the last box of four were for cars purchased in 2016. Ugh.

A psychologist at Ferrari probably figured out that the <.1% of customers that are "off" enough to need to stare at a 1/43rd model of the car that they actually have out in the parking lot or the garage isn't worth the price of providing the model to the other 99%+.

Seems like a reasonable conjecture anyway.

    :)

I bet Amalgam would love to do a 1/8th scale tailor made model of your car...

They are building one due later this month. Not too sure how much they loved trying to make resin look like bare aluminum though.

MR Models is releasing the complete series of 350 70th anniversary models, that may have clogged their ability to deliver the customers customized models.
