    Since CMC is not renewing their Ferrari agreement, I decided to do a couple of mods to the only right-hand 1/18th scale diecast SWB available, the Moss/Walker car from Hot Wheels. I kept the original wheels but washed them in black acrylic to try and highlight some detail, as out-of-the box they appear too shiny to my taste...

    I also lowered the suspension a touch...not sure it is exactly correct for period, but it appeared to sit too high as delivered by Hot Wheels.

    It's a shame CMC are no longer producing Ferraris, I had hoped at some point they would have produced this very car...

    Stirling Moss is expected to be at the upcoming Lime Rock Vintage event, so I'm going to see about getting the car mounted on a base and get it signed...
