Worth while investment or not. How is the market holding up. And any body recommend brokers online to use.

If I found a bag of money walking along my Railroad Tracks, I 'd take it to AntM....... But I'd keep enough to have a pint and a pie for me and steve f, and Fan512bbi....and Collette and Lovely D..and tonyh and Chaa Then the rest I'd give to AntM.....
what a nice thought from a nice man speedy308 oh and chaa does read this site i am sure he will feel proud with these nice words as i do cheers speedy
Paul, You could use directsharedeal.com to buy and sell. As for investing at the moment, caution is required. Think Steve must have lost a few bob over the weekend or something. Regards, Matthew
I thought of chaa when I read the Copter Crash thread today...... It's better if those whirly things stay firmly attached...... I have to move from Lady Valeria's castle..if you need me check Sherwood Forest. I heard they had openings on that crew........
Totally honest i was watching them all day. From this mornign when they were 4 something then at about 1pm today down to 260. But from then to 5pm it was constantly moving @ one point it was up at 4 soemthing again. i do wonder will they go undertho?
I've been playing with virtual (ie. pretend money) spreadbetting the past couple of months after reading a book about it whilst on holiday. One of the beauties of it is that you can bet on a fall as well as a rise.
I saw the smiley but you could actually be right !! Up 35% this am @ 317.3/318p The Bank is propping it up A buy-out is being organised Discount any goodwill for the "Name" which is now worthless and factor in borrowing costs at say 1 or 2% pa more than expected As ever, there is a price at which buyers will appear If you fancy playing this game only use money you can afford to lose - esp if you are spreadbetting. Use a stop loss. No investment advice implied, given or intended
Is there any companys online where you can start trading today? Every company ive been in contact with today takes a few days to set up.
You're very welcome........ *waving* The Ferrari store here has new Acer laptops with cameras. I should get one then ya'll would SEE me waving! LOL!
Why be in a hurry to lose money? Some 90% of beginning short-term traders lose. You'll have more fun inviting the forum out for a pint.
If you are in such a hurry - prepare for bad news !!! FWIW The market giveth and it takes away, Wait till the right bus comes along, Know where it is going Know why you are getting on it Decide which stop to get off at - in advance! Remember that the conductor want's paying Read this - esp para #1 and #2 http://www.thetradingdoctor.com/pdf/ThisIsYourBrainOnTrading.pdf This is probably the best on-line broker http://www.interactivebrokers.co.uk/php/main.php It is US based, very cost effective, very good pro interface but it is a total pain to set up an account Don't get sucked into spread betting - although their profits are tax free, the spreads are a mile wide and you can't set your losses against tax And you will have losses! Leave this list and join http://www.trade2win.com/boards/ or similar Read it for a few months If you find a free lunch don't forget to PM me No more - this is so far OT that someone will get upset but on the face of it you look like someone in need of guidance No investment advice implied, given or intended Martin
Let me guess, you got a tip on a stock and that's why you can't wait a couple of days to get into it? Joseph Bessimer was a wise man.
