    Is that from Sheehan?

Anyway, I have similar wheels on my 575 (also black). I have yellow calipers (I'm a sucker for black cars with yellow calipers), so I suggest that.

Factory Modulars are available but for the price consider the Nocitec Rosso Wheels as they are SO nice.

Not sure what the market would be for the existing wheels though.

    Best,

    Fantastic, are the 20's?

I believe HRE wheel and tire combos cost $6k and up, correct?

Wheels look fantastic but the brakes are too small. Get the Brembo upgrade kit. You wont believe the difference

These are 19". I am very tempted to go yellow on the calipers since the car has shields.

Yes, this is a Sheehan car.

This is a close up of a similar wheel with the big brake kit. My car came with these wheels and brakes, but I believe the MSRP on the wheels was over $6k.

The yellow colour is a bit different from the calipers to the Targa Florio shields.

Is it true that the HRE's being forged are stronger and less prone to bending than the stock modulars which are cast?

The wheels look nice, as does the car, however, IMO they are a pain in the butt to keep clean as it is difficult to reach in between the parallel spokes.
Personally I would sick with the stock wheels.
    Just my opinion though.

Stock wheels look too small (550 originals) ...like a matchbox car....
    IMHO
and I let the guys that wash it worry about the dirty wheels ;-)

There was an issue with HREs failing on the track a while back. Quite controvertial if I remember. Do a search and you should find something.

I meant the stock 575 wheels, not the stock 456 wheels that I also find too small.

The wheels that failed were not HRE's, but a competitor's wheels running an HRE cap. "I" dont want to say any names, but "I" am pretty sure that this was resolved.

For a 575 i would stick with stock modular wheels or get some novitecs. They look better on a 575 than the HRE.

EDIT: If you stick with HRE then change the center caps back to the ferrari caps.

I personally prefer a properly sized set of high quality aftermarket wheels (in my case polished HREs.) The stock wheel offsets in the rear make the rear wheels sit inboard too far from the wheelarches. Using a more aggressive offset, I was able to run a much larger rear tyre (better traction) and also bring the wheel/tyre out to fill the wheelarches better. It's all subjective, but I think this shows the cars lines much better and the rear tyres look really wide and beefy.
