Ok so not only is the ipod connector broken, now cd's are full of static and stopping in mid song......does anyone have any ideas? Could it be a loose connection?

Does the radio play ok? No static?

Did you remove the radio to look at the back of the radio to see the iPod connection? Maybe a connector worked it’s way loose? The wires are pretty tight back there.

Can’t see how CD’s not playing right have anything to do with the iPod issue.

You might call Becker Autosound in New Jersey and ask them what they think.

Many on here have replaced the OEM Becker unit with a more contemporary radio

    Do you have factory hi-fi?
If so, it might be the amp.

Remove from dash, throw it in the air and use for shotgun practise.

The hi-fi option consists of a small booster located under the dash in the center (mounted in a leather wrapped "cradle" mounted at a 45 degree angle) and a small speaker box behind the seats that holds two small speakers. If you don't have these, you don't have the hi-fi option.
