Saw this on one of the “short” YouTube video. What are those he added on the stock wheels or is this not a stock wheel? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks like the owner added some stick on silver caps to give the look of a Speedline wheel, or similar three piece wheel. No harm done to the wheels; easily brought back to stock.
Like too many tattoos on the good-looking women at my Gym -- unneeded and doesn't enhance anything . Also, the spacing is terrible (but I would say that they are stock 308 wheels with the raised cast letters)...
Definitely a.i. generated....the lettering on the caliper is gibberish and the heads on some of those poor lug bolts just ain't right. Post the link to the vid Mike, it'd be interesting to see what the rest of it looks like. - Dave
I agree Mike - found some additional pics of the car on their website - so now we're back to: "Not something I'd do to my wheels, but que sera, sera...." ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - Dave
Ha! the laughs on whoever did that. My car came to me with Compomotive wheels, they are about 10 times harder to keep clean than a stock wheel. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's a syndrome or maybe better described as an affliction. You have a beautiful Ferrari yet you lay awake at night dreaming up fruitless ways to make it "better" because you are the kind of person who can never just be happy.
Ugly tyres too https://www.longstonetyres.co.uk/classic-car-tyres/ferrari/308-gtb-qv.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah.....there is no question in my mind that I have a condition that makes me change things that really were fine......but I like to believe I wouldn't put stick-on bolts on my wheels.
To be fair I did have these Speedline wheels on my Alfa that had a phony 3-piece motif but they were actual Allen head bolts even though they had no real function and while I really liked them they were hell to clean. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That original picture looks like it might be AI generated... very strange angles on the bolts and the caliper looks odd even if it was upgraded to some big brake kit
This is hilarous, perhaps the owner is Japonese or the Liberty Wok fan where exposed rivets are thinking "beautiful" Poseur is the only word when mixing 30 years of styling difference BAT has a set of OEM 328 wheels FS now and most caps are old style yellow, which seem to be getting expensive now https://bringatrailer.com/listing/wheels-159/
Thanks @miketuason ! Now I can't unsee the image but the video was decent! I'd think these would have to be VERY lightweight plastic to "stay-stuck" at speed... unless the peeps drilled & tapped some friendly little holes to really make a 16" 308 wheel statement...
