    They are gimmicks at best. Knowing ferrari they are probably standart FIAT parts, looking at my local maker store's website I can say that if it wasn't past office hours I could take a 5 minute bus ride to buy a 433mhz transceiver combo board for $8.22 and make a mini relay attack car stealing device overnight. I'm just an average hobbyist and my formal cyber security training probably doesn't add up to 30 hours.

    That doesn't mean I plan on stealing any cars, tracing this account back to me is about as easy as typing my full name into Google search and I was raised better but the point I like to make with this very reply is don't trust tech. A GPS tracker may be the best 50 bucks you will ever spend on your Ferrari when you live in a place where the police force is more concerned about racetracks being loud than actual crime.

    Seems to be a common theme lately, people know how to get bypass the factory security so I recommended additional anti theft system w/ kill switch
