Just sifting through some old copies of the Ferrari Market letter and this ad was included in the 18 March 1989 issue STOLEN FERRARI Dino 246 GT S/N 03754 (1972 USA model). Red with black interior. No front or rear bumpers, California license 1DZB 950. Approximately 102,000. Stolen 13 March 1989 in Pasadena, CA. (Name and contact information withheld) Did this car ever get recovered? Purely curiosity.
The last entry on dinoregister.com is "STOLEN." Now, if the current "owner" of 03754 reads visits FCHAT, I am sure that he/she will be able to find just the "thing" to make him feel a little more "secure" in his/her "purchase." Respecting chassis plates (OH GOSH, THEY COULD NEVER BE USED FOR NEFARIOUS PURPOSES), someone on FCHAT posted the following: "I have 04920 and 06070. . . . I have the original 04920 taken off of 03920." Seek and ye shall find, and perhaps you too can become an enabler. Mark
