Bummer ... what can I say, but good luck.

Not long ago an Alfa Romeo GTV race car was stolen and actually found ... painted (badly) but otherwise okay!

... and you work next to a Nissan GTR specialist ;) :D

To be fair I do see a Nissan Skyline or 3 everyday in Sydney ... which model I wouldn't have the faintest idea, but they are common!

    Hello Marc,
Did you misprint the generation of skyline in your thread? The picture you posted is an R33, but you said that an R32 is missing, unless I need to check my eyes.

Do you have any more info on the skyline? Specific mods? I'll keep my eye out... sorry to hear about this. Hopefully the rarity will help in the search.

not GTR's, but skyline's are a very common car here. our primary domestic saloon shared the engine with the skyline in the 90's.

    currently on drive.com.au:
    154 skylines
    91 ferraris (of all types)
    6 lamborghinis
    and 4 X1/9s :(

Based on Ash’s figures from Ebay, iv’e devised some figures for your information:

    Population of America at 6.41pm EST Dec 20 2004 = 295,016,621
Population of Australia at July 2001 = 19,357,594

Working out a percentage from the Ebay figures
Percentage of Skylines for sale in America= ~1%
Percentage of Skylines for sale in Australia= ~52.3%

Number of Skylines in America using those percentages = 2,960,033
Number of Skylines in Australia using those percentages = 10,124,021

    Therefore…

One in 99.66 people own a Skyline in America
One in 1.912 people own a Skyline in Australia

    And also…

    Area of America = 9,372,608 Sq.Km
    Area of Australia = 7,686,850 Sq.Km

    Therefore…
There are 0.31 Skylines per Sq.Km in America
There are 1.31 Skylines per Sq.Km in Australia

    More intersting Facts
America has 22,043,000,000 kms of Roads.
Australia has 7,913,200 kms of Roads.

    Therefore...
For every 7446.8 Kms of Road you will pass one Skyline in America
For every 216.03 Kms of Road you will pass one Skyline in Australia

    Now...
If you travelled 100km/hr for one Weeks straight...

You will pass 2.2 Skylines in America
You will pass 77.76 Skylines in Australia

    So there ya go!
