Any body going to the Stony Brook Concorso Italiano show on Sunday May 21st?
Sandy, It was very nice meeting you at the show today. My wife and I enjoyed talking to you about your 308 and its restoration. Thanks for taking the time. It's a very fine example of a QV! Sam, did you make it to the show afterall? I was hoping to meet you too, but only saw one Mondial (3.2 cabrio) All in all, it was a very good turnout, I'd say. Didn't expect to see Mr. Kalikow's pozzi blue Enzo, but there it was! That was obviously the biggest star of the show but there were several other fine cars there as well. Lots of very nice Alfas, various F-cars, a Gallardo, a Qvale Mangusta, a couple of Masers and a few miscellaneous others. I just hope that next year, somebody checks the calendar first before putting the event on the same day as the Scarsdale show. -David Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello everybody.. My name is Mike. This is my first post on this forum. i know i dont have a fancy car or anything but i do love ferraris and all those exotic cars.. i went to this meet and i got a lil video of the Enzo Starting up.. Enjoy http://youtube.com/watch?v=y1N0RLxT3dU
No. It was flatbedded out of NYC early in the morning. Mr. Kalikow wasn't present either. From what we heard, he likes to drive it around Montauk and the East End, and uses a flatbed to get it there.
Is this because it is not possible to drive an Enzo out of NYC or he doesnt like the hassle of doing so? Either way that was cool to see those pics I was just curious . Thanks for sharing the pics.
Driving an Enzo in NYC is possible. I'm just amazed to see it at an event because it has barely any miles on it Hopefully he will bring it out to more events!
Unfortunately so Jason. I wish it would come out to more events as well. I never even knew there was a pozzi Enzo in NY.
The Pozzi blue was custom ordered by Mr. Kalikow. Also, his seats were made to fit him as he went to the factory to get measured. (I think Ferrari does that for all supercar customers) Because of that, his place on the order list moved down towards the end of the production run. What I was unable to find out was which Enzo in the production run he wound up with. They said that Ferrari didn't release that info to its customers (!?) I didn't see any number plates in the car. NNO if you see this, do you know the production number (or know where to find it)?
Did anyone grab a shot of that Fiat Abarth that was there? I have been in touch with its owner for years and I just found out she had it at the show for sale.
