Hey, I was reminded that the weather is nice again and it is surely about time for another Stoogefest. Let's get some dates going. Shall we try for something in May?
I say NO 5/17/14 unless you guys want to do the Stoogefest at Autoclub speedway. There is a very low key event with very safe drivers of the Alfa Romeo Club of So Cal. at ACS. It is a HPDE/timetrial/race so 3 levels. Streetcars can go on track just no convertibles. I was going to do race practice on the 17th but will run a Ferrari in Time trial if people want to meet at ACS. I bring a Truck and trailer so we could bring a full size bar be que there too with at least one pop-up tent. A few Ferrari guys did an auto-x with bar be que at ACS several years back and had a blast. So we can tell lies at Vince's or settle it at the track!
I'll be in Monaco for the historic races and driving an Alfa in the Mille miglia so I'm not available until the end of May

I am available as a copilot and general all around wingman, Craig. I am Italian and can stumble my way around town if I need to. Plus I can drive decently and have been to Italy before, even drove through it. Been to Monaco twice, not much to know there. Lost money in the casino. Saw the 360 debut there in '99. I also can get along on very little sleep for a few days. Just sayin'... Ok, for the rest of us slobs, it sounds like we are best off towards the end of the month. I like the Fontan idea too. We have the 24th or the 31st for a real end of the month event. Thoughts? I need to get my grill fixed so I need some lead time as well.
I'm volunteering my place for the event in late August or September but would love to do something in May elsewhere. I saw one no vote for May 17th however that would be a great day for a detailing party if anyone is participating in the Ferrari's on Colorado in Pasadena on the 18th as I am. I need to get her all cleaned up and pretty. Peter
I looked out and the streets were all shiney. I was going to investigate, but I heard wind blowing, so I didn't go out.
That noise scared me also, saw a box flying down the street I reported it as a UFO to be on the safe side
I can make the 31st. On a related note, I had somewhat volunteered to host a late summer event. Penciling in September 20th as a "place holder" for that.
