If Amy has this look on her face, and you have this look on your face, chances are you got caught up in the BJ moment, and spent too much... ;)

Have fun, and pick your machines wisely...

    Brilliant!

God forbid you have to stretch while near the auction floor.

Oh boy, the "lets see what Roy brought back from the BJ auction" is growing. All kidding aside, I figure that you will bring at least one rig back that will get one of the PNW brigade excited enough to dig out a bit of cash.

Seriously aside, have fun in Vegas! I can't wait to hear your stories and see your pictures. We're all living the high life vicariously through you! :D

I was just looking at the cars that are down in Vegas at Barrett Jackson. As usual, its about 95% American.

A quick search yielded no Maserati's or Lamborghini's during all three days. Only 2 Ferrari's show up (a F-355 F1 at todays show) and a Mondial on Saturday. That's it.

He was also wearing it when he bought the vette.

They're selling a Ferrari F-355 later today. I wonder if we'll see it in the Seattle area before long.

Hey nothing wrong with the older Vette's. i doubt that he will give up his Lambo's.

I wonder what Roy will sell those for? it is cool to see someone you know buying cars on TV.

He's getting some pretty fair deals. I have no doubt that he'll make money on them.

You're right, the older vettes and muscle cars are really valuable these days. Plus, they're just plain cool.

WOW! That is amazing! I know that Park Place were the folks selling that car. They had it listed up here for $89,950.00, couldn't move it so they dropped it down to $79,950.00. STILL couldn't sell it, so they decided to take it down there and see if they could unload it! Wonder how the new buyer will feel to know he could have bought up here in Washington for nearly $10K cheaper as well as not having to pay the Barrett fee too?

I'm sorry I missed it... I caught the show towards the end. Was looking forward to seeing the hammer drop for Roy.

    Haha I think he is!!

You'd better stop now Roy, just because you told us to tell you to stop. If you get a chance, go for a 67 Corvette with a 427.. one of the nicest Corvettes ever Imo.

That's why I don't consider Barrett-Jackson the "real" world. I've seen countless cars go for WAY WAY more than they could possibly be worth because:
    A) People get caught up in the moment.
    B) My ego is bigger than ego
    C) My wallet is bigger than your wallet
    D) WOW! I'm on TV!
    E) I've had too much to drink, Amy is really cute and I want a hug when I win the car............
    F) ....................and the ONLY good reason to overpay, CHARITY. (Like Funk Master Flex's Mustang that sold for 300k)
