I'd thought I'd share one since it is so amazing.

    5/31/06 1130 pm
    120mph in a 45mph = fix it ticket?!??!??
the officer claimed he had to go 130 to catch me

Yea I know, well it was late at night, no one was around. I was putting no one else in danger, it was an open strip (JFK parkway) and I needed to get home. The cop was finishing another stop, so he wasn't running radar. I flew by him and he got me. I showed him my various memberships to police organizations including FOP, and ended up with an obstruction of the windshield ticket for my V1. The cop was super nice, obviously, and I was extremely respectful. Not much further to add, but shock!!!

    Wow is right.
Make sure you send dozens of donuts & bagels to the station house in gratitude. Let his fellow officers know they have a good apple amongst them.

wow, thats really nice of the cop. Althogh, I might have taken the chance with the 130 ticket. Pacing rarely holds up in court. Although the lawyer fees might have been more than the v1 ticket. In any case, close call man!

this is what everyone has been saying
without radar at the most he could get me for careless/reckless driving, I think he was shocked to see me driving, he proabably thought the car was stolen
    indeed

hahaha, if his sarge finds out what he let me go with, he might be fired

    JFK Parkway, huh?

Do you live in Millburn/Short Hills? If you do and you read The Item, you'll find that MPD is always prowling JFK. And if you live in the area I'm not surprised they let you go.

    yea i do,
It was pitch black I wouldn't think it would be safe for cops to be even hiding around there. Someone could loose control and hit them. But still double the speed limit, and because I live around there isn't necessarily a free be. I just met a nice cop, and I had some crudentials.

I know that stretch. Deer is the thing to look for. Like you said, without radar he couldnt have gotten away with a speeding ticket. You did get lucky
