How much trunk space/console space is there in a 360 Spyder? Enough for a couple of small pieces of luggage? Or just a bottle of Chianti? Let's assume this one does not have the Schedoni fitted luggage... Actual physical measurements or close estimates would be greatly appreciated as I cannot find any information on the web... TIA -Tad
I don't have exact measurements, but I am able to fit two duffle bags that are at least 28"x 15", plus a folded garment bag. I have not tried structured suitcases, but I imagine a couple of airline carry-ons would work. There is a little shelf space behind the seats for briefcases or computer cases. I have taken a couple of trips in my 360 Spider and have been able to pack for 4 or 5 days, no problem.
No problem. Just make sure your female companion doesn't wear much clothing either day or night if you get my drift. This is definitely an advantage if you think about it. There is lots of storage behind the seats. What you need for a trip. You wear: Pants or shorts. Belt (optional). Shoes or sandals and socks (socks optional). Shirt. Underwear (optional). You Pack: Light jacket or sweater. Two changes of clean underwear (optional). Toothbrush. Toothpaste. Deordorant. Comb. Medicine (if applicable...Viagra, etc. if needed). Vaseline or KY Jelly. Condoms. Church key and corkscrew. Copies of Forza Magazine and Playboy or Penthouse. She wears: A bikini (the smaller the better). Sandals or flip flops (optional) Lipstick and makeup. She packs: A spare bikini (even smaller if possible). Spare sandals or flip flops. Makeup and perfume. A comb. Deodorant. Toothpaste and toothbrush. A wet T-shirt. Bikini wax. Massage oil. Suntan oil. Chapstick. Birth control pills. A copy of "1,000 Ways to Make a Man Happy" (Karma Sutra illustrated edition). If you don't have room for all of these necessities with room left over omit the second bikini. Or you can have her fly to your destination at her own expense. Enjoy the trip and good hunting. BTW it says Spider on my dash not Spyder.
Today I went to Canadian tire and on impulse bought a new pressure washer that came in a huge box. I put it in the shopping cart and walked to my car. As usual there was a couple standing admiring my car. They could not believe it when I arrived with the huge box and proceeded to put it in the hood of the Ferrari! ( in fact I got lucky it fit without an inch to spare in all directions) All to say that the car has a load of space and is emenintly practical. (just don't expect to buy a "big Gulp" and put it in a cup holder)
Excellent. Thanks to all for the info. Sounds like we'll be able to take everything we need, that is to say... My clothes, laptop and toiletries 1.5 bikinis for her... (I'll tell her we're going to the topless beach) We'll bring the digital version of "1,000 Ways to Make a Man Happy" on the laptop to conserve space for the video camera... Any Viagra at this point in life would (thankfully) be purely recreational, but the massage oil is a great idea. Added to my list. For the record, I would never dream of trying to fit a Big Gulp into any F-car. G-forces + high fructose corn syrup = sticky carbon fiber. ...and darnit, I should have known it was 'Spider' with an 'i' in the context of the 360, but thanks for the correction. That said, googling 'Ferrari Spyder' yields 2,850,000 results while 'Ferrari Spider' yields 2,760,000... interesting, no? Thanks again for the scoop. Sounds like we'll have plenty of space if we omit the pressure washer from our bill of lading. Regards, Tad
Plenty of room. Not only in the front compartment, but also behind the seats. The front compartment has room enough for maybe two average carry on bags that you'd travel with. I bought a push lawn mower at Home Depot the other day and it fit up there fine. 5 bags of top soil, no problem. Box of 9 dura-flame logs, check. It's not an SUV or pickup truck, but you'd be surprised how much stuff you can fit in the front. This is especially true if you stack things properly (due to the angle of the hood as it closes). Ray
