It's still in the 60's here in Minnesota (30's next week).

I just spoke with NSXER in Kansas, he & his wife were taking his LP400S up to Wichita (about 40 miles) for a car event tonight. He promised to post pictures later.

Are going to put it on jack stands so the tires don't flat spot?

Many agree that flat spoting is a myth w/modern tires.

I tend to agree, as even my Repo Bias plys for my old corvettes don't flat sitting 7 months, neither has the the 308 with modern rubber...

Gorgeous Countach Marcus. I don't think i've ever seen a red countach on our Montreal roads. Sadly the cold weather is upon us and the snow will soon fall, but today was a gorgeous day to go driving and I went to Little Italy to watch the race and there was a couple Ferrari's out and about enjoying one of there last drives of the season. This week looks like some promising weather and might be a great last opportunity to drive the cars before the snow falls and the roads are covered in snow. I look forward to hopefully seeing your Countach once the spring comes! We would love to have you join us on the small events we orginize!

From my experiences {November - April} you can let the car sit on its tires, after a heat cycle the rubber rebounds. I have never damaged a tire, had a leak or even suspected a tire after a storage. He'll be fine.

  8. I think you will be ok with the flat spot problem. It does exist however. The Goodyears on a 89 Corvette I had would get them. They would drive out after the tires got hot, but until then it felt like going over mini speed bumps.

Cold weather is just what these cars love. I say, drive it until the first snowfall. And even then....if the streets are clean and free of salt and gravel, ....drive it!

    Dare to be different.
