I'm relatively new to model cars, and I'm not looking to collect or anything. I'm looking to get a nice accurate red 360 Stradale with the It. stripe on it. Preffereably 1:18th scale. The only one I've found is a Hot Wheels model. Is this a good model as far as accuracy, quality, etc...?

Also, if anyone is interested, I have a black Supra model, as well as a white 1987 Buick T-Type model that I have no use for. I'd consider trading both for a red stradale model.

    I appreciate it.

It looks pretty nice. I may just end up and get one of them. I was wondering though, if you knew of any other makers of a stradale 1/18th model?

Sorry but its only being made by hotwheels. And imo there quality isnt good at all if you compare to other better brands like kyosho and autoart. So if you want a really nice SC you wont get it from hotwheels. :(

It isn't that bad for what it is, but I agree that it's no Kyosho or Autoart model. I really do hope that Kyosho will make more Ferrari models in the future.

I'm afraid Hotwheels is the only one that produces a 1/18 Stradale. If you want a very accurate model, get a BBR. But then again, these are very expensive/rare and are 1/43 scale.

Well, I drove around to a few local places that I thought would have the HotWheels Stradale, but to no avail. They run about $30 shipped on eBay. Does anyone know another place to get one?

I dont think Hotwheels went to too much effort with this one ( typical of hotwheels ) - The only real difference I can see over the 360 modena model they have is the raised boot lid and the 19 Inch wheels , they have failed to include the Yellow Tacho and the Red Section on top of steering. Plus the all carbon fibre inside looks like black plastic, could of at least made is gloss black. The mirrors are nothing like the Stradales, they look like they're off some other model and just painted black. The rear diffuser from the Stradale is missing, and quite frankly the whole aerodynamic package looks the same as the Modena. I was under the impression the stradale has a different front bar and side skirts.

I know that Hotwheels is not in the same league as Kyosho and the price reflects this but I think Bburago made much better models and they were cheaper than Hotwheels.

Well, I bit the bullet, and just picked one up from here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=2583&item=3193278727&rd=1

It's the cheapest price I could find on them, and they offer the Black Enzo model pretty cheap there(It would have come to $17 shipped). Alas, I only get the Stradale. Just a heads-up for anyone looking for one, it's a Dutch autcion with 5 days left as of this writing.

I found this one at Tower Hobbies:

    http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFPD7&P=7

If you'll go to their home page and sign up for their mailing list, your first email will include a $20 off coupon for any purchase over $50. You can buy the Stradale and the Enzo for about $15/each if you buy them both.

Then you have to add shipping costs. The prices I quoted included shipping to your front door.

I read the ebay ad you provided it pretty clearly states:

Shipping will be $9.95 FedEx ground to the Continential US.

    SO, $15.95 for the car, $9.95 shipping=$25.90

I didn't see the price including 'shipping to your door'.

I recently got my CS from Exoticar. Is it just me, or does it look like Hot wheels just took the 360 model and put different wheels on it? Mine sits rather high, almost like they put the larger wheels on it and said, "it's a CS". I have also noticed the lack of a rear diffuser.

All they ahve done is got the normal 360 model, put a stripe on it and changed the wheels. I bought one and also noticed that it sat abit high.... I lowered it myself my cutting the arms that hold the wheels in place. It now sits much more aggresively, with the wheels sitting tight in the arch. I will most some pics of it soon.....
