Not a Stradale owner ................................................ yet. You want to use Novus (1) plastic polish for cleaning and Novus (2) if you have scratches.
Thanks, but those are last ditch efforts.... The plastic is PERFECT and I want to keep it that way...
If you stop by a local airport, and hit a pilot's store, there is a product (in a spray can) called Plexus - made for cleaning acrylic windshields on planes. It works fantastically well.
i use plexus and it works very well. but i also use speed shine (or any similar product) and it also works very well.
I use the quick detailer spray on the outside of car with micro fiber towel, then after it is done, the micro fiber still is a little damp from quick spray (i mean a little damp). I then take the same Micro fiber towel and clean the outside and inside of Lexan rear plastic (i dont spray any extra on towel or plastic).
IMO not really necessary or practical for typical maintenance. I've never had mine off and it looks fine.
I agree. Since it is pretty flexible, a thin microfiber cloth will fit right in between for cleaning. I use plexus also.
Simple is good. I just spray with the hose to remove loose dirt and dry with a synthetic chamois with VERY light pressure. It's clean with no chance of scratches or fading from mechanical abrasion or chemical reactions.
