There are two Stradales out there that I am looking at.

One in my city at Ferrari of Seattle with 21k miles and a known history http://www.ferrariofseattle.com/inventory/details.aspx?ID=335

The other is on eBay with 8k miles on it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-FERRARI-360-CHALLENGE-STRADALE-/160547435149?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item25615f728d

Owner of the ebay car says it was serviced at Omega Motorsports in Florida because Ferrari dealer was 300 miles away. I have never heard of Omega Motorsports, but the car looks nice and seems well taken care of...(I did just notice the photos were from 2009 though.)

I like the idea of the lower miles and suspect I could get them for near the same price.

Thoughts on which to pursue, if either?

PPI them both and purchase the one with the best service history. All being equal grab the one with the lower miles........

FWIW, the color on the eBay car (right pic) looks rosso scuderia whereas the ad claims rosso corsa. Very possible the car for sale is actually rosso corsa because the main pic is of another CS that was for sale by an Fchatter back in 2008? Hmmmm..... here's the CS (left pic) that was for sale in 2008, completely different VIN#. Compare the house and driveway, look the same?

Hmmm is right. That is definitely the same car in the photos. Thanks for sharing the information!!

Second one is out. With that, I am trying to close deal on the one here in Seattle with the known history.

The one is Seattle looks like my old CS except that's about the mileage it was sold with. I'd be curious if you knew the vin#? Best of luck with the sale. :)

No problem. Maybe seller doesn't have a better pic of his car handy for the ad... seems odd, but it wouldn't be the first time I've seen this.

It's been in Seattle it's entire life... hoping it stays that way.

Believe yours is in the Bay Area

As Modenafan and I will tell you. High mileage Stradales run very well. Mine had 33K+ when I sold it. They are solid cars. Just do a PPI and enjoy.

    Cheers

When I was looking for a CS, Stokpro, didnt you say the Seattle car looked like a clean deal? Their bottom line was just a bit out of range for me at the time.
