I just wanted to shout out to John at Macarbon for the steering wheel that they created for me. We had it shipped to NJB where my car was being stored, detailed etc etc for the install. John and I crossed many emails trying to decide which way to go, we finally decided on this with a scuderia stripe and a charcoal suede to match the existing alacanttra on the dash.
I think it turned out well

great looking, did you move the Horn position to 2 and 10 o'clock which is a more sensable place.??

nice, but not quite agree on the bottom suede, I feel that just too may type material ona steering, a bit mess. Love the Carbon bit, Just like the OEM 430 Carbon Driving Zone.

I think it is very nice upgrade.

+1 for John at MaCarbon. We also had a great time working on the right wheel for the Grigio Titanio CS. Communication was great, and even when the delivery time was extended John made it right. He and the company is an outstanding outfit if you want top quality CF. Anyway, just giving a shout out for MaCarbon and a good example of a sponsor on f-chat. Oengus, your CS wheel looks sharp.

Thanks Grigio for posting the pic. Its always great to see pics of the parts after they've been installed. They look good here at the shop but then simply "pop" (no pun intended!) when installed and in their proper element.

John didn't you do a similar wheel like Chas has with the suede on the bottom part of the wheel and the red stripe for another Stradale owner a few years ago? That Stradale was silver and was bought used in Atlanta for a New York owner? I like the suede on the bottom part of the wheel.

John, I must say that the 12 o'clock titanium color stripe is just the perfect touch....and a good color match to the outside of the car (yes, anal as I am, I actually put the wheel up to the outside of the car before install) The thin stripe IMO was the right way to go, gives the rest of the carbon a chance to really "shine" through.

Flight is still on, cu Sunday.
