Does anyone have any feedback on this combination or with just the hyperflow cats on a CS? Hyperflow with Tubi Ngt Thanks
I boght my 360CS about 3 weeks ago. I had the Tubi NGT and the Hyper-flows here the same week I got the CS. The feel of the car is faster. The sound, well words just don't do it justice. If you are thinking about the swap there is not a beter 6-7K upgrade out there.
Thanks for the reply I have the NGT on the car now. I am wondering how much power the hyperflow will add.
I just got a CS..and alot of people are saying to me that aftermarket exhausts arent that much louder at high revs...only louder at idle. Reason being that the stock CS exhaust has a bypass. No idea if it is true
I did the NGT and the Hyper-Flows at the same time. I can say there is an increase in HP, but whatis from? I do not think the NGT add's to much HP so I would say the claim of 13 peak hp by Hyper-Flow, from the butt dyno would be close. One thing I did notice was the huge difference in the mid RPM range. This is where you feel the big improvement. Hyper-flow claims 30HP increase in the mid range and althogh sounds like alot, I would have to say YES. I am going to Dyno my CS this week. I will post the results as soon as I have them. Only bad thing is no Pre and Post Tubi, Hyper-Flow numbers.
Hey JGTCNSX~ More details please! I bought a Strad about 3 months ago and I wouldn't mind any blot on mods that give it a little more punch. So far my only complaint with the car is that I wish it pulled a little harder at the upper end of it's range. Was the power difference really noticeable (like night and day) or just mildly noticeable? Throughout the powerband or just at the top? Any input would be most appreciated. Thanks! Rob
I just bought a CS with straight pipes and tubi NGT exhaust. (It also came with all the stock stuff) It is BY FAR the loudest CS I have experienced, ever, period. I can't comment much on performance since I haven't even driven the car yet. (I am going crazy awaiting delivery) Plus, once I do, unless I change back to the stock stuff I wouldn't be able to compare.
I can't see how a Tubi NGT can improve performance on a CS as beyond 4,000 rpm. When the valve opens there effectively is no exhaust, its a straight through pipe?? thoughts welcome
I don't see the restriction in stock CS exhaust neither, but have been very interested in adding hyperflow cats...
Thats what the dealer said..also said aftermarket exhausts wont be much louder either at high revs too...their words...not mine
Download this CS track video and enjoy the sound! All the mods are detailed on my old post: =http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68880
How do you think a stradale with a tubi ngt and hyperflow cats would compare to a f430 in acceleration and lap times?
I think the acceleration is won by the 430 ..cant beat more HP. Laptimes could go the way of the Stradale...as horsepower doesnt always make for the best car around the track. Brakes, suspension, unsprung weight...ect. A tight track that doesnt have the straightaways could easily see a CS being alot faster..
you better not change back to stock.... that is the best setup out to date..besides mine of course hahahaha..
