If you were having your car autographed, where would you think would be the best place to have it signed? I know this is a ridiculous question but more will hopefully become clear in time as to why I am asking.

I thought about on the engine bay cover but this may not be a good idea on a car that does get driven( heat, dirt, moisture etc).

As I say this is a weird question but if this event goes off the way as planned I may have a very nice post to make!

    Any suggestions are welcome.

I'd have it on, or in, the handbook, rather than the car itself.

I think he will probably take this engine cover off and put a replacement in car before he starts driving it. Engine heat will definately discolor all the signatures. I would frame the front cover and put it up in my garage wall.... if I were the owner of that GTO...

As for autographing the car goes, I think best to sign on passenger dash area, since it's out of the element and most visable for most?? Just a thought...

Plenty of signatures on the engine bay cover of mine. No discolouration of any kind and the car has been driven hard and in wet conditions.

Was a clear-coat applied after the signatures were made?

A member of the Porsche club I know had his GT3 autographed by some of the factory workers. He had the inside of the trunk lid done. Since the engine is in the rear, there was a significant amount of real estate to sign. I think that the inside trunk lid is a good option in this case as well. No worries about heat, dirt, etc. I'll try and post a pic if I can find it.

I forgot that you had the signed engine bay! Though you have cabon fibre and this car has the more standard matt paint finish cover.

Thanks for the opinions everyone, given me some good ideas.
