Ok, you will thank me for this

get Lemon Joy orginal dishwashing liquid. It must be Lemon Joy Original

Fill a spray bottle with distilled or reverse osmosis water. Add two drops of Lemon Joy and 1.5 teaspoons of rubbing alcohol

this was the secret recipe given to me by a premium ceramic window tint installer for very expensive film (Huper Optik)

I’ve tried perhaps dozens of cleaners over the years, and this is the only one that is virtually streak free. Spray on and then try wiping it off with newspaper instead of paper towels or cotton/poly cloths.

Use microfiber. Newspaper can scratch glass.

That stuff is magic. Zero effort clean. Still kicking myself in the ass for using Windex and other stuff for so long.

the secret is cleaning multiple times and using multiple towels.

first time using a larger amount of cleaner. then once you wipe it down you follow up with a clean side or new towel with just a little bit of cleaner.

never re-use a towel for multiple sections. you're just spreading dirt/oil that way.

It's not the cleaner it is what you use to wipe it off. My wife's grandmother's trick is to use the cheapest paper towel. We use the Giant Food brand everyday paper towel. 2 ply and feels thin but it beats a Bounty paper towel when it comes to streaking whether it is the granite, Wolf stove top and glass. No lint.

The most important aspect of cleaning glass is what you wipe the cleaner off with it. Microfiber towel with low pile and Invisible Glass Foam cleaner best combo imho. No matter what cleaner you use paper towels will leave streaks.

A product that works amazing is Eraser Gel from the care care company 3D.

If you have any water spots on your car (paint or glass) this stuff will remove it with little effort. Also leaves an amazing streak free shine.

As a bonus, its best application is probably in the house…it removes hard water stains off shower doors or around facets like nothing I’ve ever tried. Absolutely amazing.

    www.3Dproducts.com.

Name of product is Eraser Gel.

Their other products are just as good, mainly a professional brand, but starting to build some awareness in the enthusiast community. I would definitely recommend them. Their ceramic graphene coating is also outstanding.

Another technique. Wipe out side up and down then wipe inside side to side. That way you can more easily tell if the streaks are in the inside or outside. And it doesn’t matter you can go side to side outside and up and down on the inside, just keep the wipe direction different between inside and outside.

Easiest clean no streak windshield cleaning I've used on my cars for yrs. (Ferrari,Porsche,Audi,MB) You need no expensive cleaning product at all. Simply buy the "Ultimate Cloth ". Keep it clean, only use water, follow the easy directions. A number of cloths come with purchase. I'm still on the first one.( aqt least 3 yrs old). Wife & kids took the rest & use on mirrors ,their cars etc. www.UltimateCloth.com, Or 800-714-2770.
Obviously if your windshield has lots bugs, sap etc. use a microfiber plus product of choice 1st, rinse then follow with the Cloth.
