    Do you think it is inappropriate to project content on buildings? Is it considered graffiti or can we say its like blogging in the real world?

    I kind of like it, its Graffiti in a good way, think limited space billboards.

    In Houston a while back (8-9 years ago), they were doing something similar, but it was temporary, If my memory is correct it was a Houston Rockets projection on a building selling Rockets clothing. It was a projection in which it could be easily taken down, and whatnot.

    Well, again, I am an idiot, and didn't read the top of the page. Which it clearly says "PROJECTORS" but since I posted this I will leave it. Make myself feel like an idiot when I read it again :D

    If you project a message on my building, do I have the right to smash your projector?

    I think graffiti is the greatest of the current folk arts.

    Antony - what the first link describes are Freud's analysis of "projecting thoughts"
    The second link summarizes "defensive mechanisms"

    In Freud's day, there was no Internet, and therefore, no Blogs. Diaries, certainly, but, those contained private thoughts.

    Nowadays, Blogs are oftentimes the equivalent of Freud's openly expressed [which sometimes are best repressed, if Blogger is neurotic] thoughts, or what the intarwebbers call "content"

    How the past and present converge is;
    "Projecting content" onto property held by others is actually "projecting thoughts" in such a manner which assigns the thoughts or feelings "they" might otherwise need to repress to a convenient alternative target, thereby setting off "defensive mechanisms" within the psyche of; sender, receiver [viewer] and perhaps, the unwilling host to the message.

    Even more than beads and pipe-cleaner crafts?

    I've seen some mean Hallowe'en spiders from puff balls and pipe cleaners.
