    Had a knocking sound from my gearbox last Friday. So I promptly stopped and got the car transported back to the workshop.

    My mechanics tell me I stripped 2nd gear!!!

    Now I do drive hard but not that hard!

    I could understand if the engine was cold and I gave it full death straight off the line with some slicks, then maybe?

    But during normal driving on the street?

    I don't ever ask for this, but in this case I will. I would like to see some pictures to see exactly what happened. When they get it apart if you have time I would like to see.
