    taking my 1980 308 gtsi for the last ride of the year, backed out of the garage and now will not shift our of reverse. Any ideas of what the problem may be?

    worn bushing on shift shaft (the one before the shaft enters the oil pan)
    and / or shift shaft alignment in generell

    search for "shift shaft alignment / adjustment"
    lots of useful information

    to properly adjust it, you should know what you are doing ;)

    Or the bolt that goes through the silent block could have come lose or off when you shift it in to reverse, happened to me when mine got stuck in 1st gear.
