Bumping the starter is the last thing a student pilot should worry about during an engine out forced landing.

Flaps- may have been raised once on the ground to increase braking effectiveness.

She landed on a golfcourse, hitting a hole could collapse the nosewheel.

She walked away and the plane looks repairable. It will be interesting to see why the engine quit so soon. One of the facebook comments says it dropped a valve. If the engine seized, bumping thr starter wouldn't be possible anyway.

I saw a photo of the engine with the #2 cylinder removed and the piston had a hole in it big enough to drive a stage coach through. She walked away without a scratch from a plane that is repairable. That's a good landing.

Although it may cost more to repair it than it's worth, likely a write-off.
