I've had an issue haunting me.
My idle seems a bit stumbly, and when taking off from a stop sign, it stumbles a bit until it gets rolling and revs are around 2300 rpm, after that it runs fine.
I changed plugs about 500 miles ago and it ran fine after, perfect in fact. It just started doing this again.
I cleaned the MAF and aux air regulator also at plug change, so I know they're fine.
Could it be a bad injector or??
Plug wires seem fine, no arcing going on.
    Any positive ideas appreciated.

The idle control valve playing up could cause this sort of problem - The first thing I would do is search that subject on Fchat and Google (other search engines are available! ;) )

This would be my first point of concern...

Yes, I'm still thinking this could be the culprit, and will test it out a bit more here. Even though it moves freely and is clean inside, doesn't mean it's operating as it should.
I should also note, I've powered the battery off and did a reset of the computer, but to no long term improvement. It helped a bit, then relearned and acted up shortly after several attempts.
I have some info on testing the electrics of the air regulator so will try that here when time allows.
The MAF was clean, seems to be doing it's job appropriately.
