That car seems to be for sale constantly... Sloan > TruSpeed > This guy (Atlanta?)... seems odd. The one-off colour and Seinfeld pedigree seems to carry an awfully heavy premium though.

LOL !!! I was just gonna say that myself.......IIRC for sale for what ?......2 years now....on and off ? IMHO it's easily $75K+ overpriced (I've seen them for $125K)..........I can't justify the huge "S" premium people ask on those cars over a regular 993TT knowing what you're getting (not knocking the car, just it's price)....and as much as I like Jerry......I'd rather have a car owned by Elaine...........but that is just me.

    Heh.

Isn't the "S" version much rarer?

Yes, just 182 units produced. What I meant in my post was this particular car carries a hefty premium for the one-off colour and Seinfeld ownership over a "normal" Turbo S... IIRC, the ask on this car has been from $215-230 for, as KDS said, two years now. That's at least a $80,000 premium over a similar mile/regular color Turbo S and still a $50k premium over the mintest (?) of the collector cars with <1,000 miles on them... perhaps has something to do with why it's been for sale for so long?

Don't get me wrong, the car is STUNNING. It's not the car's fault that it's been for sale for so long ;)

WOW. Lots of $ for a smurf-blue car owned by a comic.

Well, it would be worth more if had been owned by John Voight.

That's funny. I can't stand that show, but that one is one of the three or so that I saw.

That's "Arrow Blue", a standard (but rare) porsche color from the early '80s.
