    Hi All,

I lost a lug nut/bolt on my 82 308 GTSi... I know what you will recommend... search the archives.

I have searched the archives, and actually on our sponsers site (HILL?) they don't specify the mm or length and size of their nuts. (That is kinda funny when I type it out! :) I don't usually inquire about nut sizes.)

I have been all over the internet and what I need is a 14mm shaft, 22 mm head, 1.50 thread spacing RH. My bolt is 2 1/5 inches long ( thank God I'm a girl) and I can't believe I dropped one. Whoever installed the tire must have been interupted by a phone call because another bolt on the same tire was half off. See....
it does pay to detail your tires :)

Bottom line... where in the *#@& is the best place to get a lug nut? I live in Anchorage and our "local" Auto store (Napa and Schucks) couldn't believe I even owned a Ferrari.

    Thank You!!

As a side note, driving the car on sunny afternoons is the most peaceful, theraputic experience I could ask for! (excluding the honks) I will be a Ferrari owner forever!

Speak to Daniel at Ricambi - I think he carries some of Hill's stuff for the US market.

I see that the lug bolts for your car are listed at italiancarparts.com. Go to the Ferrari section, then 308, then suspension. Warning: they aren't cheap!

I don't know how hard they are to get - probably fairly easy.

Before trying the usual Ferrari sources, I would call http://www.international-auto.com/ and see if a Fiat one will work. On many of the earlier 308's they are same as Fiat.

Bill, at GT Car Parts, supplied me with 2-3 good used bolts after I dropped a couple one night. Forgot to troque them down properly. Luckily, no other damage other than the bolts themselves. I think he charged me about $10 each and they were in very good condition. The bolts are different lengths front and rear. The rear wheel ones are shorter.
