Stupid question: how to add quotes to post

    Can anyone explain to me how to add quotes from previous posts into my own post?

    If you look at the bottom right of any post questions or responce,there is a reply box, click it then you can add your own comments. Is this what you mean? Ps, i have just re read you post and i dont think my responce was what your were after, sorry disregard my last.

    Instead of using the "Post Reply" button at the top left of a thread, click on the "Reply" button within a post. That will automatically quote the original poster's text, just like you see above. :)

    Thats what i said, but after re reading thought he was asking how to extract tex from posts.

    It would be helpful if I actually read other posts carefully. :)

    Sjb, if I'm going to quote from multiple posts, I cut and paste while composing a message. In the composing screen, scroll down a bit and you'll see all the responses in the thread. Cut & Paste to your heart's content.

    Before submitting, place {quote} in front and {/quote} at end of each section of text (use square brackets instead of the curly braces I had to use).
