The FJ drives real nice. Good power out of the V6 in stock trim. I'm betting there will be goodies from the aftermarket in the power adding dept.

Decent trucks, a little "styled" on the interior, but if you like the styling, its cool. When you look at them, think about how you can customize it inside. LOTS of things to upgrade if thats yer thing.

Sales - a buddy worked at a Honda motorcycle dealership for years. Used the "honesty" approach. Was consistantly the top sales person. Of course he was selling a great product, but it worked like a charm. He even had customers come back that he had turned away, "...this relly isnt the bike for you..." saying things like... "...well, you gave me good advice when I was here to buy a road bike, now I want a dirt bike, and figured you'd point me in the right direction..."

Imagine that, people like it when you are honest and helpful.. who knew?

He also used the theory of, "I'm just looking" really means, "I'm just buying". Treat everyone like a potential buyer, cuz, welllllll, they are... duh.

Lots of vehicle sales people forget that.

man i could use a rig like that at the cabin in mammoth, elev. 8,000ft 6miles of private dirt road, no plowing in winter. makes for some great hiking. one yr i we took my wifes C230K coupe (little three door hatch) just before snowfall and well it snowed while we where there. so we packed up and to get out i went WRC down the mountain road. that was a blast and i was very suprised at how well it handled the snow.

had a rover before but the build quality really sucked.

Yes, this was true until I came to the dealership I worked at. However, all we needed was one guy like me to show that you could be very effective by being two things 1. In the know. 2. honest

When you have a dealership full of people who buy the line their manager feeds them, hook line and sinker, this works. Sales managers try to keep sales people in the dark as much as they can. If you don't do some extra home work, you can be 100% honest about what you know and still mislead people. How? Because what you "know" is what you have been told by a less than honest manager.
