As car enthusiasts we all should appreciate the qualities each car has to offer. We all have different views of each car, which is obvious. To trash talk a car that you MAY never have experienced on the track or road is un-acceptable. Calling yourself a car enthusiast would be farse. I'm not here to start trouble, I think Ferrari's are fantastic cars, and appreciate the time and quality put into the vehicle. These threads are STUPID as we all know. And yes it is a way to stir the pot. If I do see someone in a Ferrari, Vette, Porsche, etc, etc I will be more then happy to say hello, and discuss cars. If I ever see some of the same people at the track, I would be more then happy to take you out on the track with me. Just remember, we all have the same passion for cars as we did as kids. Everyone of dreamed of cars like these, and now some of us own them. Appreciate what you have, and try to make new friends, not new enimies. Warm Regards, Omar
"Social staus" is perceived by some to be important. It has been around since the begining. As long as there are people, there will be this need to think or be better than the next guy. It is a sad and primitive state of mind to be in. There will always be someone with more means than ALL of us even those with "enzos"...........
Can we all please avoid going down this road again? Everyone has a car they like for one reason or another, and that is what is really important. The 348 and NSX are both fun cars, and for the people that buy them they are perfect. So lets avoid mud slinging and move on to something more productive.

You can see where Acura cmae up with the styling for the NSX. It's a 1986 Ferrari 408/4RM all wheel drive prototype. Of course Ferrari scapped it for the 348. Wonder where Acura got the idea? Do the NSX boys know this? Top 3 are Ferrari's, bottom 2 are Nsx's. i love the look of the NSX...its exotic in a way very few jap cars ever have/will be however, its no Ferrari....348 gets the heart racing
Honda was also working with Pininfarina back around 84' so chances are these design cues of the NSX & 408 concept would be similar. Both the 348 and NSX are beautiful.
Actually the 408 was designed by Turin. I doubt Ferrari would knowingly allow any other manufacturer to design a similar car or that Ferrari would copy another manufacturers design even for a prototype! Unless they felt the design was not good enough for Ferrari themselves to use.

Like someone mentioned you cant compare a honda vs a ferrari...both car's are lovely though..but my vote is for a 348.
