The documents you posted raised a few questions for me.... Perhaps you can help me out on the following: The official document from the Comision Nacional de Velocidad de Venezuela list 4 races in 1997, the letter from Maranello Motorsport lists only 1? Likewise, 8 races versus 3 for 1998; 12 races versus 8 for 1999 and 0 races versus 2 for 2000. I also checked the listed races with my personal database: for August 02, 1998 the Maranello Motorsport document list an event at Los Parisi (which is near Maracaibo). I have a Ferrari Challenge Venezuela event at Turagua that same day. Likewise for September 27, 1998: the document lists Puerto Ordaz, I have San Carlos. I really hope you can clear these inconsistencies... As said before, it is for me as a non Spanish speaker extremely difficult to get reliable information on the Challenge series in Venezuela. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!
These papers were give to me from Ferrari North America. I have no other papers or any other info for you. Sorry and thank you. Alex.
For your information: next to the events already mentioned, according to my database Tomás Tinedo also raced your car at two separate races at Ferrari Challenge Venezuela events at the Autodromo Internacional de San Carlos on November 28-29, 1998 (result unknown in race 1 and 7th in race 2).
Who owns my first 348 Challenge from the 1993-1994 season? Race-winner in the first 2 years, second overall in the Championship. Chassisnumber 84908, delivered new in Holland, original Dutch registration YJ-51-NF. The first Ferrari to be modified for the Challenge series, as I was the initiator of the series and wrote most of the rules and regulations!! I have some documents that the current owner should have.
I have that car in my records as: #41 - Hans Hugenholz - Netherlands - sponsored by Kroymas - '93 / '94 then #90 - Patrick Masson - France - '95 Not sure who owns the car now but this group is good at linking. Robb
Merry Christmas all! I have a 2003 360 MC Race car, I'd be grateful for anymore information on it as it seems a little different to all the others I've seen on the net. The main differences I can see are the rear wing and the centre exit exhausts. Maybe these were just on the later cars?
