    Hey Guys,

I have searched around on the FC for current tire recommendations for but could only find older post's.
I just bought a set of used HRE's 19" that came off a 355 and need to get tires for them. Also suggestions for sizes
there has seem to be some debate on which size is ideal.

    Thanks in advanced!

Michelin sport II, I'm happy with them.

There is a web page called tirerack IIRC, they have a good comparison chart.

    225-35/19 Front

275-35/19 or 295-30/19 rear (295's may rub, they will be going on mine next time)

Thanks for the response, I didnt know why some guys go with a lower profile size in the rear than the front... and didnt know which would be preferable.
Do yours rub being 19" now?

No, mine do not rub at all. Guards are still standard too, ie not rolled or lipped. :)

With the change to a 19" wheel and the extreme low profile tire that comes along with that I would strongly recommend a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. The low profile tires generally have such little sidewall that a flat can be difficult to feel at lower (street) speeds. I lost a set of Vredestein tires for that very reason. I didn't know it was flat until the sidewall was cut and stopped the car just as it started beating my fender. The systems are MUCH cheaper than you might think and provide some valuable insurance along with being a cool addition to the car. I used the Orange Electronics Model P409S and love it (no relationship to me) but I'm sure others are available.

    Good luck

just had michelin Pilot sport cups put on.... sick looking tires that are outstanding on dry roads... i read not so good on wet, but my 355 will never see water unless I am washing it
