Suggestions places to rent PCB, Cape San Blas?

    Wife, myself and 2 kids ages 5 and 6 going to drop in during month of June. No idea on where to stay. Suggestions? Ideally we'd like a condo type thing on the beach or very near. Don't need kitchen etc though. Just overwhelming with all the rentals online so maybe some general guidelines??

    Kids will want beach, we will want patios, fish shack type places. Nothing fancy required, just casual, fun etc.

    as you noticed there are lots of places available. the east end of the beach, near st. andrews park, is having a bridge rebuild now so traffic is a little screwy now. not really a big deal but you might use that as a bargaining point with the rental people. the west end near pier park, the big shopping and entertainment mall, will have newer and more expensive accommodations and may be a bit quieter, trafficwise. no matter where you choose the beach is the same.

    Unless there's a reason you want to be in PCB, you might look into St. George Island.

    Why not get away from the crowds, the traffic and the high rise buildings. Travel one hour east of Panama City to Cape San Blas and you will find beautiful uncrowded beaches. Check out Coastal Joe for a rental home.

    I live about 20min from SGI and was just in PCB 2wks ago. I would recommend the http://www.majesticbeachresort.com/ fro what you are looking for. We always try a new place, but keep coming back to that one. PCB is definitely much prettier than SGI right now. Hopefully this time next year you can rent the condo I am going to buy at PCB:)
