Well I hope the sales capability of the broker is better than their ability to design a website that frankly my 10 year old would have been disappointed to hand in as his homework project.

You would think that for a sales of cars whose value is shall we hazard a guess in excess of $1m they could have at least taken photographs that were in focus.

    Pathetic really.

There are individual CARS worth well north of $1m !! It's more like in the HUNDREDS
    of millions worth of cars.

There was another thread regarding this collection...as autoblog says the cars are in singapore. I think another poster said it was not the sultans collection though

The collection is being sold off bit by bit. Quite a few Ferrari's have made it to the UK already, but as far as I know this is the first time that any classics are being offered. I didn't know that there were cars as 'old' as a Daytona in the collection.

With a collection of thousands of cars and a limited number of countries to absorb them (RHD), marketing them without destroying prices becomes a daunting task.

The story seems to be that they are in singapore. There is a dealership there called Hong Seh that has lost its ferrari franchise and it is said that the owner of the franchise kept a private collection. If you google the name of the dealership you can find pictures of some of the same cars at its anniversary show. The story therefore seems to fit. Quite why they are being sold through New Zealand is another question.

Personally I quite fancy the 355 Challenge in race trim. Would make great trackday car.

I am still on the look out for his Daytona Spyder in black if anyone has any info?
Serial no's of the blue Daytona's would also be useful to add to my RHD list if anyone knows these?
    thanks

I think those pic's from Hong Seh are quite old, i am sure i saw them about a year ago, but they could be even older.

Your info is spot on. This is the former Singapore Ferrari dealer's collection, not the Sultan's.
