Found it! AC Brooklands Ace https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AC_Brooklands_Ace#AC_Ace_(1997-2000) "Of interest in the production run were the four cars sold to the Sultan of Brunei in 1995. They were designated “special build” with more powerful engines, sports automatic/overdrive gearboxes and numerous extras." The same exact car, as seen in this video, starting at minute 00:25:
https://www.autoevolution.com/news/ferrari-f40-coda-lunga-digitally-modernized-real-car-reportedly-hits-400-kph-143321.html Never knew about the ‘long tail’ or ‘Coda Lunga’ F40 in his collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
These don’t look fake to me? Am I mistaken? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
On the previous page, there is the whole story with ALL THE PHOTOS of the CGI F40 'Coda Lunga'. Do your research before re-posting. Thanks.
It hurts to look at this picture - using suspension arms as support. They look bent along with the right rear arm near shock absorber. The rest of the car does not present any better either. Ouch.
What have we learnt so far from previous posts in this thread about House no. 5, a.k.a. the Glass House? Here is a post from this thread, dating to 13 years ago, by a user named black label who apparently worked at the facility in Jerudong: Profile: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/members/black-label.52904/ Another post by Peloton25: From a reply to the photo above by the famous basman007: From my understanding and thanks to the photos provided by the Instagram user @taffy_c_s_145, we can almost certainly confirm that the cars under the letters D, E, F mentioned by basman007 are 100% correct. I have put them under numbers: Dauer 962 LM - SILVER Registration plate: BQ7523 (not confirmed) Production number: #151 (not confirmed) Chassis: TP99620151 (not confirmed) McLaren F1 GTR (09R) - UENO Clinic livery replica . Jaguar XJR 15 - BLUE - confirmed by the wheels Here is my little collage: Image Unavailable, Please Login From my understanding, I agree with basman007 about the cars under letters A, B and C. To me they should also be: A. 288 GTO (99% sure) B. F50/F40 (I would bet on the first F40 Prototype chassis no. 001, as stated by black label) C. F40 LM (judging by the wheels, it might be it) While searching for pics regarding the F40 LM, I found an interesting article from 2011. Please follow the link and look at the asking price at the bottom... Oh... If only I had the money! DAMMIT! https://gtspirit.com/2011/02/14/for-sale-black-ferrari-f40-lm/ Cheers guys!
Off topic: I found online the architect who made the project for the Empire Hotel and Country Club Villa's. This is where the Royals spend their time. Probably some of them even live there. This is where some of the cars were spotted, for example the pair of LaFerrari's posted a while ago. It is mind blowing that the project budget was approximately 3 billion BND which, in 1997, was about $1.8 billion USD. If converted to today's money, we are talking about $2.9 billion USD. Enjoy the read: http://peterzieth.com/Projects/JPH/JPHVLA.htm
I also think that is the famous black F40LM. However the link you shared from GTsirit, is not an LM. Just a regular F40 with some LM bits. I believe it was bought by an Fchatter..
They owned 2 CLK GTR'S? heard that these two were sold in 2009 a coupe and a roadster. Kinda surprised that they don't have a single 911 GT1. Also was the black F1 GT sold or not?
Two of the 26 CLK GTR's produced were equipped with RHD steering: one coupé (chassis number #13, silver exterior/tartan interior) and one roadster (chassis number #2, dark silver exterior/magenta interior). These were constructed for Hassanal Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei. Both RHD cars were auctioned on 28 October 2009 by RM Auctions in London. The roadster was sold for £616,000 (US$973,834) and the coupe for £522,500 (US$824,609). https://exclusivecarregistry.com/mercedes-benz/clkgtr/511820180613161737 https://exclusivecarregistry.com/mercedes-benz/clkgtrroadster/500920180604155912 As far as I know the Brunei collection does indeed not include a Porsche 911 GT1. The McLaren F1 GT should still be part of the collection.
