wow what a thread! Its so hard to like the BRF's cars because of how wasteful they are with them but man they have some really quirky taste that I'm all about too. Very conflicted, this screams of clinical hoarding, but also I would do terrible things to purchase a 456 Estate (I'd kindly ask for the stick put back in please) Loved reading it though
Yes, it was a SUPER interesting article, I just got my copy. $50M per month - every month, converted military cargo plane to ferry various fleets, his ship “Tits”…
McLaren F1 chassis #008 was recently spotted on a Brunei registered plane, tracked flying from London to Brunei. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It gives me a slither of hope that at least some of the really special cars are being taken car of. From what it sounds like, it is returning from the McLaren factory. It sounds like they have a renewed appreciate for what they have. If you can restore a 250 GTO that was lying in the weeds. I think some of these cars may be able to be saved. It warms my heart.

According to Pani Tsouris (one of the more famous F1 technicians) on Insta, 008 has been nowhere near McLaren. Unless it's been to Lanzante then I'm not sure what's gone on. I'm sure others will know a lot more than me though.
This is the famous IXO registered 456 Venice that is regularly spotted in London. Sad it took its way to another continent…
I hope some more pictures emerge of this stateside and it doesnt dissappear into a private collection. Would love to see more of the rear interior and carpet/headliner layout.
Wow that Venice would draw a crowd, I hope it shows up here and there. Just wow. Uber Rare Classic Ferrari.
I'd be curious if the build quality of these cars is superior to their production counter parts or if they are typical of one offs by manufacturers and designed for limited use and not with longevity in mind.
There are various stories about the Royal family's accuracy circulating online when it came to the inspection and delivery of their cars. I can imagine that the built quality and attention to detail of the 456 one-offs is fairly high. Hopefully Doug DeMuro reviews this one soon.
