Does anyone know how many cars he and his entire family has left? I haven't found anything on the internet , only things like 2000-7000 cars.

"A great find in the archives of an employee of Schiphol Airport in the Netherlands
On this one we can see a Ferrari 512 BB modified by Koenig and a Porsche 911 930 Turbo modified into Gemballa Avalanche
The Porsche was known in the collection registered KF9108, but this would be the first photo of this 512BB Koenig. No idea if they are still in Brunei
Thanks BVDL for this photo maybe more in future"

KLA12162 is up for sale/auction in Sweden:

This is one of probably three LM002 converted by Salvatore Diomante.
The car was ordered by the BRF yet it remains unclear if the Sultan received a standard LM002 and sent it back for conversion to Europe or if he ordered it, had it converted in Europe and then took delivery of the finished product.
The documents show that the car was ordered through infamous Singapore dealer Hong Seh Motors.

Second owner was former VW and BMW CEO Bernd Pischetsrieder. Who owned the car from 2004 until 2009:

The car was then for sale by Auto Engel in Germany and ended up in Sweden (2012):

Any more information on this car and its history is highly appreciated.

Can we please acknowledge our fellow @BlueBiturbo (a.k.a. Taffy) for the photos? No one is giving him credit.

Another leaked car is the green on green RHD Ferrari F40, chassis ZFFGJ34B000080756, registered BP77. Notice the mouldy leather interior with Testarossa seats and different steering wheel, electric windows, radio (removed), full air conditioning system etc. Stunning example.

Please note that there is also another green F40 in Brunei, but with black interior. One example is in "Forest Green" and the other one is in "Emerald Green", but I'm not sure which one is which.

Enjoy the pics and thanks again to Taffy!

Next on is the unique black with red stripe and black interior with red piping Ferrari F40 LM, chassis ZFFGX34X0L0088523, registered KF7899.

Again, notice the mouldy and dirty leather interior (even the carbon chassis has been upholstered in leather) with Testarossa seats, electric windows (so it does not have the lexan sliding windows), radio, full air conditioning system and digital gauges cluster.

This car has been photographed in the famous "glass room" in Jerudong, where the "big hitters" used to be parked. In the last two photos you can see it from the outside (the white building in the middle of all the other garages). If you look closely, you can spot the black F40 LM in the third photo.

NOT THE SAME CAR! Let me clarify...

The car parked in the "glass room" is the McLaren F1 LM (LM4), chassis SA9AB5AC4T1048LM4, registered BP75.

Notice the AH logo of Prince Abdul Hakeem Jefri Bolkiah on the headset (third photo) which, by the way, was inspired by the Batman logo, since he was a big fan.

Next we have the McLaren F1 LM (LM1), chassis SA9AB5AC9T1048LM1, registered KF90 parked in an underground garage.

Both cars appear to be identical, with some minor differences in the interior (for example notice the gear lever colours).

Talking McLaren, again in the "glass room" we have a McLaren F1 GTR, chassis 09R, painted in the famous Tokyo Ueno Clinic livery, to resemble chassis 01R which won at Le Mans in 1995. Please notice the sticker on the windshield which says SHOWROOM A1, which is maybe referred to the "glass room" as we know it. You won't be able to see it, but on the steering wheel there is a white sticker saying "PLEASE DO NOT START. PUSH TO MOVE.". On the opposite sill there is a sticker saying "TIRE PRESSURE [something] PSI. CHECK BEFORE USE.". Enjoy the new-old pics!

This very same car appeared in Taffy's photos back in 2020, taken by @george_sw on Instagram, as it was parked in the very same spot.

Again, you can see it parked in the Garage number 5 a.k.a. "glass house" from the old article photo:

May we continue with Garage number 5 a.k.a. the "glass room"?

Here we have a road version Jaguar XJR-15 in Blue, build number #009, registered KE88.

Again, this was not the only Jaguar XJR-15 present in Brunei. Here we have another road version, this time in Yellow, parked in another garage. This is build number #046, registered BN618.

The same car appeared also in a previous "photo leak", parked in the very same spot:

You are of course absolutely right. Little bit too early for me when I posted my comment ;) Thanks for clarifying.

You had it pretty much right back in 2020 already.

Looks like an early 2000s RM Sotheby's Brunei Royal collection's archive was leaked yesterday. I was told that the photos were stolen years ago, and some of the photos have been on the net since while ago. There are hundreds of photos of dozens of cars...

The first part of your post is correct. The photos have been kept private for quite a few years, in a sense that they have not been shared outside a very small circle of people. As far as I know, an auction was planned in the early 2000's but was cancelled for unknown reasons.
I'm not sure the photos were really stolen. From what I managed to find out, the guy who posted them first (Taffy) got the permission by the people who snapped them back in the time. To my understanding, the leak contains approximately 2GB of photos and roughly 500 different cars (maybe more).
