My favourite is No. 8. But I am still missing the negative angle of the grille on each modell, described by wbaeumer.
@Walter, welcher "gefällt" Dir denn am besten? :)

I wish No. 5 would be the one that comes to being. It looks really nice in my opinion.

These pictures (No.5) have been published by "Auto, Motor und Sport" in Germany at December 2004. Design by Pininfarina.
At that time they (ams) told, that the project retards for about 18 months, because the originally planned drafts from Giugiaro had not enough power.
But unfortunately I do not know, which is the current design today.

I was told that the new coupe will be a foot longer than the current model, much smoother ride and f1 will be softer and more "user friendly" to the masses.

This weeks Autoweek mentioned that one of the reasons Maserati has been realigned from Ferrari to Alfa is that the costs of developing higher production cars like Maserati to "Ferrari standards" are prohibitive. They mention that it will be more cost-effective to share components with cheaper Alfa. While this bodes well for Alfa's return to the US, what does it mean for future Maserati quality and bespoke components, I wonder?

Bulloks! Ferrari also has a strong interest in avoiding high costs! The only Italian brand within the FIAT-house of rumbles which shares components with them can be Maserati only!
Maserati will share or develop minor components like a/c, noise-packages, exhaust and electronical elements with Alfa. Major components like engine, gearbox, drivetrain and suspension will come from the Ferrari office desks!
A very tough test by SPORT AUTO with the new Quattroporte on the Hockenheimring was very enthusiastic. They stated that the build quality was very much improved - thanks to Kalbfell, who had RR and BMW-quality on his agenda!

    Ciao!
    Walter
