First of all I would like to THANK every single person who came out to the run today. What an absolutely insane day!!! Many thanks to Seth, Bryan, Chris, Gil, Jonathan, Anthony, Tony and everyone else who helped in making this event very organized and enjoyable!!! The drive up I80 was one that will be remembered forever. It was an amazing sight to see all the cars together on the highway (I wouldn't be exaggeratng if I said there were over 100 cars out for the run). After blowing by 2 cops in a row doing over 140mph, I was praying for the rest exit to come earlier!!! lol For some reason (thank god) cops just didn't care on the way there. I think I've heard only about 1 person get pulled over on the way to Skytop. We got clocked doing triple digit speeds number of times, but all the kind NJ cops did was pace us for about 20 mints at speed limit, without pulling anyone over. Seth's laser jammer just kept going off once every 10 mints! The twistie roads going through the woods of Poconos were a blast, hope everyone enjoyed them as much as we did. Lunch was great, everyone loved the location. The staff of the restaurant had everything under control and provided an outstanding service with great food. ( I know I use the word great alot, but the day was really that GREAT!!!lol) I'm sad to say this considering the amount of work and effort that went into organizing this event, but there were a couple of people that didn't want to pay the fee and tried to snick into the restaurant without wristbands. Its just such a shame that there are people like that around us, but I guess you can't expect not to have couple of bad apples when you put such a big group of people together. Driving back we had some awesome moments and some bad ones. We went up to 195mph in the Gallardo, then 10 minutes later got pulled over for the dumbest thing ever - driving on the left lane for too long... lol... Officer Pendo was kind enough to just give us a warning. I registered around 130 people today. I'm still waiting for the final charges from the restaurant, but I can say that after all the expenses we have more than enough to sponsor those 10 kids for at least 2 years each. G-Gore will be putting together a DVD from all the footage shot today. If you have a tape/DVD/whatever that you filmed today please contact either me or G-gore to include your footage in the DVD. Again, many thanks to everyone who came today. I must have been asked at least 20 times when will the next run be. Don't have a date for the next Exotix Run, but check out www.exoticsrally.com for the upcoming 3 day rally that will be organized in the tristate area. Regards Hovik
ahhhh what a day i pulled away from the pack with two crazy Porsche Turbo guys, doing stupid speeds, we blew by 2 cops doing 130, we saw them coming down after us, all of a sudden we were up to 170-180 just getting away from them, all the 6 speed Porsche guys are fuc*ing nuts, Raudel car is stupid stupid fast hats off to that beast. Hovik what can i say A+ baby the ride back was soooooo much fun see you guys soon LamboJoe
Yep lots of fun! Was surprised how qick those M6's were also how much the Muri Pulls on the highway. when you have 5 lambos on the highway and everyone just punches it all at once its a damn symphony
What a day. Thanks Hovik and the rest of the guys. I had too much fun in the beginning with everyone flying around. Sux the cops had to rain on the parade.
Nice work done by Hovik and crew. Like everyone else, I look forward to the next event!!!!!! Those twisties were great!!
hey i heard no Vetts on the next one. haaahaaa you know your my boy barry, i might be your father. lol
HAHAHA>>>>> If your my father, then I will kill myself. NO VETTES????? EXcuse me gents and ladies, but I believe ONE CAR and ONE CAR only was not restricted by that Rolling Roadblock the Troopers threw up !!!!!!! Now Joey my friend. How the Fck do you explain the fact , that I ended up as the lead car??? Yes, THE RED VETTE in the FRONT!!!!!! Amazing that YOU were doing 170/180 to get away from the cop, but I was ahead!!!!!!! HOW??????
LLLLLMAO but with that said...LAMBOS ROCK. Hovik and I may be splitting a Gallardo for lease...he's got the weedays and I've got the weekends lol.
John had a good point today, it was kinda cool with the cop there because people weren't all over the place in little groups of 2 or 3 cars. Instead it was a bunch of cool cars all cruising with each other, it was a neat sight. Hovik, good restaurant this time, I really liked that place. Food was good and staff was helpful. Nice grounds too.
Hovik, great run as always. Thanks to everyone who helped organize this run and again for a good charity. Good to know every one is home in one piece. Luckily my tow vehicle was not needed. Joe, great run my man. It was fun with the po po and running that Bull in the hands of someone who pushes it. Lukas, always a pleasure to have you in our "pack". Now let's see some vid's!!
Really insane!!! Good Job guys. It was nice seeing you guys and meeting new ones. Nothing better than seeing so many Lambos on the Highway, we brought so many smiles to peoples face. Seth and Hovik good job on the twisties slowing down then punching it, that was bad ass. I swear it was a blast!!! Man everyone was cool. Even Dustin from Mischief series showed up. Lunch was good had a cool people at our table (nice meeting Rob,Byran & Shivam). The drive home was the BEST for me, I hit about 150 MPH in Lukes Murci Roadster (Fastest I ever drove). I loved it, All the Lambos flying. Again great Job cant wait to the next run. The funniest was the girl from NJ that lost her ride (Porsche guy) and was stranded, thank god the guy in the RX8 drove her back to Edgewater. Lesson learned never get a ride from strangers LOL.
OH WORD, like that Joey hahah, I see how it is.. Nice seeing your crazy ass today, we had some fun especially when blowing by cops at WOT
As Hovik mentioned, I'm trying to put a DVD from the event. There was so many cars, so many ppl and so much action happening that my two cams had no chances to capture all of it. So any of you dedicated filmmakers - if you're willing to share your interesting footage from today's run, please PM me. Let's make it a group project.
Best part of the day was when I was on the Turnpike following a yellow Murci and a yellow 360 at 140 mph! Chasing Joey on the twistes on the way back to the resturant after we passed it was pretty insane too! All in all great day I had a blast thanks Hovik for setting up another great run.
.....to keep your passenger mouth shut and just hold on....... Highlight of the day, Evan getting soaked by Joey at the rest stop! You are still wet behind the ears my little friend..... Now you in a BMW Isetta would have been very appropriate!
+1 I have some amazing footeage . I called a bunch of friends over and we watched almost 2 hours of high quality video on DVD yesterday (to late in the night) from 3 different camera angles....... and all I can say is....Oh My God.!!!! It runs like a movie with Gallardo's, M5's M6, Murci's,Gt2's TT's.. Its high speed runnning at its very best. We have exclusive footega of the best high speed run I have ever seen on the way back between the my friends modded white M5 and an 07 gallardo which is for the history books and then high speed runs between M5 and M6 to high triple digit speeds. -Supaleggera Vs M6 : M6 is faster- fair and square ( Just having fun though) -Supaleggera vs Modde M5: M5 is faster But that Superleggera is achingly beautiful ...really nice car and I liked the way the driver was handling it. Props to you ! -07 gallardo and M5 running in Tandem ..oh my gosh...this you gotta see -F360 ( yes we ran into an F360 on the way back: really was no contest. M5 took it out -Cl 600?? Merecedes ( not sure on which one it was: Black V12 twin turbo???)- flying. Oh my gosh. -M3 CSL body kitted looking great -Gallordo trying as hard as possible to shale of a the white M5 in the twisties but unable to whatsoever - good drivers in both cars by the way -GT2 flying and I mean flying. Roundels Gt2 set up is amazing. Its solid around the turns and fast in the straights. I have it on DVD. Looks great Got it all and more I might have it ready for view in 2 days. Its just so so so .......so much footegae !!!!! One things for sure. The camera doesn't lie
I'll gladly share it all with you I can send you the raw fooetage from the mini-DVD shot with our bolted in camcorders Just let me know how you want it and I mail them to you. It's on 4 mini DVD's Nice meeting up with you once again
I'll gladly share it all with you I can send you the raw fooetage from the mini-DVD shot with our bolted in camcorders Just let me know how you want it and I mail them to you. It's on 4 mini DVD's Nice meeting up with you once again
You get any footage of that moron in the white m5 trying to be cool and trying to do a burnout while leaving and instead smoking his clutch? 10 feet later all the M guys stopped and tried to figure out what was going on...HA
Its completley healthy!! If I have a chance do it why the hell not?! Soooo much fun. Nice meeting you too.
Strong words Parikh what are you talking about and why are you being so negative..why call someone a Moron!! I personally never saw anyone do a burnout so I can't comment. I certainly hope though that you're not referring to my friend Avery who had a white M5 with an Eisenman exhaust because he is a really cool person and has attended runs with us before. Not reckless or anything like that. HE was rolling with me shooting footeage frim his camcorder mount. You are dead completly wrong as to the reason why the M cars stopped- if that was us. Was there a red M6 in the group cos that would be me---or maybe I'm getting mixed up with something else you saw. I was with a group of cars that stopped on the way out to adjust the camcorder settings and remove them from the mounts so that we could hand the camcoders to the passengers to get some side shots. Thats the reason why I stopped not because of any burnouts.!!! Chill out P it was a great run...wait until you see the footeage we're gonna handover for final editing. We all had fun and other than the cops an incident free and fun filled day fo everyone !!! Hope to hang out with that car of yours at the next meet Cheers
Excellent job Hovik. Being this was my first run, I don't have anything to compare it to, but I had an awesome time and look forward to the next run. Thanks.
Hey P just for you info the camera guy told me to do a brake stand. I never atempted one before and the tires didn't break. As far as a clutch burning I was smoking lambos and ferraris on the way home the same way I did coming. As far as stopping, we were putting new footage in the cameras that were mounted on the head rest before the ride home. Watch what you call people before you get your facts straight. "Sticks and stones" lol. Don't be a hater because you sound like one!
