    Yep I'd say so. I don't think he's still mastered these brakes yet. He's the only guy that struggled with them since 2014.

    The goal of testing is to test and to test certain parts or software you don’t necessarily drive to set fastest lap time’s.

    I second that. Mercedes were testing a new front wing. New cutouts on the vertical elements(2) closest to the nose. So was Ferrari.

    At least not the principal drivers, but I imagine the back-ups are trying to make an impression regardless of instructions.

    Well maybe but not if they’re good employees and team players. I imagine their careers won’t last very long if they do that much. :)

    We don't know fuel loads. For all we know Ferrari carried 40 kilos of fuel more than Mercedes when they set their respective times. Or vice versa.
