Sunday afternoon southbound on I-94 was a 550 or 575. Both look the same to me from the rear. Not part of our FOC event, so it is a legit sighting.
Okay, so I take the pace bus home from school every day. I get off at a boring intersection, never seen ANYTHING there. So I get off and start crossing the street when this unbelievable silver dodge viper srt-10 roars past me. If that isn't enough, literally 25 seconds later, same intersection, lime green Lotus Elise with black rims.
I know I was teasing Here's my video of the Carrera GT. Best part is the girl in the brown dress glaring at me at 0:22 http://www.midwestscc.com/video.php?v=66&k=u3kc8d3vje
Alfa 8C was at Continental yesterday along with a short nose 275 GTB 2 cam. The Alfa left this morning and I think the 275 GTB is sold. Also saw a very nice 1955 Lancia B24S spider in Hinsdale last week.
That Carrera GT is always parked in front of my place. I saw it a few times already. Chicago is really a different city in the Summer, its incredible.
another pic of Tony, anyone know what he does? It seems most people that go to Chicago see him on Michigan Ave. He def. doesn't work anymore. ... I wish I had those hot pants Image Unavailable, Please Login
Unlike me who doesn't work, Tony does work via his cell phone. Working at what I know not, other than trying to buy obscure 'Journey' albums to blare on the stereo of his 360. Don't get me wrong, I do like Tony; he's just a bit eccentric.
And what's wrong with that? I like him too. And he is one of the guys who actually drive their Ferrari. A lot.
Aston Martin DB7 convertible on 75th street in Woodridge an hour ago. Looked like the one recently for sale at Lambo in Westmont. Did that one sell?
Thanks Emperor! I did my own spotting over the last couple of weeks. Gotta post some pics. Surprisingly absolute NO Ferraris on German roads. Zero. Countless Mercs, Audis and Porsches and once in a blue moon a Lambo Gallardo.
Hi Andrew, The silver CGT belongs to a guy I know. He got arrested speeding on LSD! I saw a yellow CGT today parked in the same spot as where you shoot the video. I was driving by in the blue 365 BB... Gene.
Pretty funny story. One of the trumpeters in my jazz band really loves cars. He comes up to me today and says "Hey Dan, you'll never believe what I saw. I saw this woman driving this neon green lambo with black rims! The license plate was funny." I said "Bad Bull?" He said "...How'd you know?"
This FALL, on Saturday Sept 27, I saw an Elise and 12 corvettes in a row on I-90 heading toward Rockford. Later, in West Chicago, I stopped in at Augustinos (site of FerrariChat event in 2007) where I saw a 328 GTS - and I am fairly certain it was familiar. Image Unavailable, Please Login
okay, I know it's not exotic in the sense we mostly think of, but Sunday I was one of the most exotic cars on the road I've seen in a long time..over 80 years old, it's not powered by internal combustion engine, or electric.. as I approached I saw quite a cloud come from the tailpipe as it climbed a hill doing about 60 (on wood spoke wheels no less!).. I followed it to a gas station where it was refilling.. Any guesses? I took 4 pics, but curious if anyone guesses right Here's what I saw initially Image Unavailable, Please Login
