Awesome! Did you do the driving class? I visited the track last year and the track manager allowed me to do a couple of laps in my rental. Fantastic track and in the PS3 game "Trofeo Pirelli Challenge".
The FNA rep there said that while there were no immediate plans, a letter writing campaign from the attendees might help persuade Ferrari. Very unconvincing.
Remind me to tell you about an experience I had when I was in Palma. It involved a Spanish warship in the harbour!
They said the same thing last year. I called and sent emails just to receive a polite answer promising nothing. I guess going to Italy is the only solution...
I was strolling the harbour one fine morning in the 70s. I happened upon a docked ship painted in khaki colour. There was a door open dockside on the ship, with a military guard shouldering a machine gun standing next to it. I thought the ship was open for tours so I advanced towards the open door. Much to my surprise, the guard lowered his weapon towards me and, without saying a word, he made it quite evident that I was not to proceed any further. I was just a dumb tourist I guess.
I know another dumb tourist who took pictures of a nuclear sub somewhere in a US harbor in Defcon Bravo...The roll of film was handed over to authorities within less than 5 minutes...
Guess I'd better not post my pictures of the South Korean diesel mini-subs all tethered together taken at Chinhae? The SK guards round those parts happily pointed US made M16s at our liberty van each & every time we transited the base...
Yup, not many people can boast that claim! Also, when in London, Athens, Beirut or Paris, trouble either followed or preceded me. Some very interesting stories which I'm sure 'RD' would claim are lies, as he does to everything I say. Carla, let's bury the hatchet. I really have no issue with you and I actually like you. A certain 'other' individual started posting claims about me which are untrue, and were said only to try and redeem himself from ridicule.......unfortunately, some believed his hearsay and that's where our problems began. In closing, I do extend my hand to you in friendship and I have no hard feelings. Yours faithfully, Darolls
I won't call these lies. I will say in the several years we were friends you never once said anything about traveling anywhere in the world nor did you ever once talk about owning a real Ferrari or Lamborghini. You never showed me any pictures etc of any other Ferrari or Lamborghini. I will say you were very proud to show me your 308 replica and Rolls and that older MB. The first time you drove up to my house in your old Chevy Impala you brought a stack of pictures of your 308 replica. I would love to see some pictures of these other exotics you own and have owned. OSCA Zagato heading towards downtown Chicago. Not an everyday sight!! Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2010 model/photo contest April 2010 Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think I have seen the same car along with a yellow 430 spyder, dark grey Mas GT S, another red 430, and a black Mas QP up and down those roads from Roselle, Algonquin, to Rt 31 to WI. Mostly around the Barrington area throughout this weekend. A few US and Euro to note like Ford GT's, Vipers, nice 911's but I like the Andreas train of thought that those are, well, not Ferrari.
Good guess. As you might already suspect, it's at Continental for a checkup. TT Image Unavailable, Please Login
