I'll never understand why. When the cars are driven the tags are visible to everyone, so what's the big deal?
Well, I can speak for myself. I've always blurred the plates simply as a courtesy. It's personal information, and the owner of the car didn't ask for/allow it to be spread around the internet. It takes 2 seconds to block it out in Photoshop, and I've had a lot of clients specifically ask for their plates to be blurred out. It's a precaution, nothing more nothing less. Saw a black Tahoe with emergency lights in the grille and a government issue Crown Vic that actually had all 4 hub caps!!! I believe they are owned by the tax payers of Chicago and utilized by the fella that was dinning a table or two away from me at lunch today. When he arrived he was talking on a cell phone and pacing back and forth. After he completed his conversation one his officers took the phone away to ensure an uneventful lunch. Our taxes at work for us......in other words.....a waste of money at our expense; I suppose we paid for his lunch too!!!! Like he really needs an escort; give me a break.
I don't want to get off an a political tangent, but his "entourage" was one car and 2 officers smaller than his predecessor who I used to see a few times a summer.

how about this..... today I saw his predecessor at the same spot (exact same table) having lunch. He came with no entourage, which is interesting, as I know the city approved continued "protection" for him.
Shots from today also saw a Panoz Esperante but no pics.. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
