Yesterday around 4:45 heading north on 294 a immaculate silver '60s Ferrari GTB. Beautiful car, looked like it just rolled off assembly line.
Red California at 11:30 on Hollywood and Broadway. Probably the same car I see on LSD every so often. Young driver.
The Mornings Highlights: Red Countach on Dundee!!! Oh my g-d! Also a Red 308 on 94. Another personal favorite, child of the 80's what can I say? Others this morning included Yellow Murcielago on 94 and a Grey California on 94 as well.
I honestly don't remember, but I do remember a Maybach with FL plates at Motorwerks when I was there maybe 5 years ago.
Grigio silverstone/cuoio F430 in Wrigley and a red LP560-4 and blk Phantom at the triangle. And of course the superleggera but that's just cheating. May as well say I spotted a Ferrari at LFSC
That's probably it, I'll post pics later. I think I've seen it before at Dengeo's. Today in Evanston, downtown, around 6:30, a red Lotus Elan S1! Wow, beautiful condition, kinda loud, too! Nice! My first!
For all you spotters, Oakbrook Mall has a free vintage car show today from 11am-5pm. Many pre WWII cars on display along with post WWII. Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 2012
Pass complete! Coolio, welcome to Ferrarichat! There is another FChatter on here with a Superformance GT40 in metallic grey.
Superformance is a South African company that makes the world's best GT40 replicas. They have something like 90+% parts interchangeable with the original. Plus some (hidden) creature comfort like A/C. They ship the chassis to the States where you have to mate it with the appropriate engine (thereby avoiding modern car DOT regulations). Here a couple pics of Daryl's GT40 at a VA event. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh, awesome! Thanks! That's very cool. Here's a video of a Viper I saw last month: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vvf2oNjN-5Q&lc=D1Ekk2WJ_G9eE-o45mG949IjB4PcP5CzykbTgvh8nms&feature=inbox[/ame]
