LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, now that is damm funny! I was just talking to a friend in Manhattan about where we were meeting up, then i was like im going to post a meet up spot for all of the LI/NYC guys to run out there together lol.. Ok, how about Manhattan Motorcars??
I'd like to caravan out from the city. Manhattan Motorcars sounds good (that's on 11th Ave, right?) Let me know.
http://www.weather.com/weather/weekend/USNJ0130?from=search The weather looks stunning this upcoming Sunday. Low 80s is the HIGH and low 70s is the LOW.
LOL Tiger, gotta get your head off the golf course brotha haha Yessir, that's where the official LI/NY meet up will be before the cruise to Jersey!! Martin
Manhattan Motorcars is bringing out a car also. I'll let Matt know that you guys are planning to meet there before heading to Edgewater.
Hmm, wonder what time meet up should be then, im sure everyone will hang out there and wait for a good 15 minutes, how long from lincol tunnel to edgewater, what are your thought's on meet up time, then leaving time? Martin
Meet at 7:45am. Leave at 8:00am sharp. Arrive circa 8:15am. Click for directions from the Lincoln Tunnel ^I used the MB Dealership as the start point.
7:45 should be fine. It's about a 20 minute drive from MMC to the meet spot. So if you do the math waiting at MMC 15 minutes give or take, and the 20 minute drive, we'll still be able to get to the meet spot just before 8:30.
I've never been a fan of waking up early, but I might suggest an additional 5-10 buffer. Shooting to meet up at 7:35 or so and leaving as soon as everyone who says they are meeting us there actually arrives, but no later than 8:00. I know sometimes despite my best intentions I run a couple minutes late (hey, I've got to start up a Ferrari in the morning, after all ) Anyway, just a thought, I'll go with whatever the group decides.
haha funny. I used to live in FH. Class of '96 for PS196. btw do you live near this guy? http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=401751
Jawad and I are alike. We are *NOT* morning people. From experience, im sure that at 8:45am, we will still be in the parking lot, BS'ing and drinking coffee. There's just too many people. Eric: Should I bring a box of Joe or is there a place there that we can walk to get coffee? I think I can fit it even though ill have a friend of mine with me. You've been more then generous w/ the coffee and food and I havent had a chance to really reciprocate.
As far as coffe is concerned, there isn't anything right there. There is quite a few places along River Road though so it shouldn't be difficult to find a D&D or Starbucks (I hate their coffee) along the way. This will certainly be a BYOB since the numbers are outta hand and I can't supply coffee for 100+ people!
3rd the not being a morning person thing. I dont think ive ever waken up before 11 on sundays before I started doing runs Now that I think about it, I havent woken up before 10 in a very long time.
