this is turning out to be a BullRun. Can you imagine the old granny in her car surrounded by 80+ sexy cars??? Or better yet...car with hot ladies in it.

 

John is right, we are bringing all these great cars, but who is bringing the girls to go with the cars. Forget about the coffee, concentrate on the girls

Yeah... I was thinking about this, too, Hovik. I am the LAST person to want to keep anyone out, but you may consider capping this particular run now. It really does risk becoming too big. Besides, it will give people something to look forward to for the next run!

Anyway, just a thought... You're the boss.

HOvik you contacted me about this run on the lambo forum "blackmurci" its seems like there are going to be ALOT of cars on this run so i am going to pass.

 

If everyone makes a commitment to behave and check their speed -all will go fine. Lets not give 5-0 any excuses to ruin our day.

 

If school was in session I could put in a call to some Columbia sororities. A few of them are girls I know from growing up in Miami - very good lookin, but if they're not complaining about somethin, they talk, and talk, AND talk... They look nice in passenger seats tho.

Come to the starting point in NJ with your car, even if you don't go for a drive. If its really crazy, I may not go for the run, but it'll be fun show up, see who comes and fraternize with the boys and girls

I'm with Rehan -- plan on doing the NYC scenic drive and then heading home. Too much of a good thing is not a good thing. Don't know how this ended up on the Corvette Forum, but as far as I am concerned nothing positive will come of that.

Rehan...I'll speak to you via PM, but to anyone who is concerned about the number of cars please feel free to reach out to me.

Bottom line is that typically 1/2 to 2/3 (at most) of the folks that say they are coming do not. This is especially true for the early morning runs...

As safety is concerned, everyone will get the directions at the beginning of the drive. If you chose not to go that is cool...if you chose to drive part of the drive...fine as well.

If some folks get out of hand and cause what we feel to be a potentially dangerous situation...I will personally call the police myself.

This is not anything more than a rally and stupidity will not be tolerated.

So come out, enjoy a beautiful morning with enthusiasts and then go on the run or head out. It will be a great gathering...

 

Eric is 100% dead-on here. Everyone should keep in mind that this is about friends, fine automobiles, and fun. We are there to share our mutual appreciation for these cars and to enjoy a day of nice weather and a safe cruise. Eric won't be the only one that has zero tolerance for stupid behavior. **Anyone with anything to prove should stay home.**

For those from NJ who feel like driving together to the Edgewater we're putting a meetpoint at Clifton Commons (a.k.a AMC Theater) on Rt 3 East by B&N. We will be there at 7.30am and will leave at 7:40am sharp. If you won't make it you might wait till 8:00am for more drivers to come and leave in 2nd batch.

 

I am having enough trouble trying to convince my girlfriend to come with me...oh maybe its the fact that we would have to be out the door about 7am on a Sunday morning...yep thats it.

Hopefully we will be able to make it.

tell her that for the Bullrun some of us got up at 5.30am just to be at Time Square be 7am ))) and it was worth every minute of sleep lost that morning.

 

hey I think I will finally be able to make this run since I have been trying to make time to go on one for a long time now. I will most likely come in a ford Gt with a friend. It still has the stickers from bullrun on it since he did the first leg of the event. Can't wait to finally meet some people on the board
