Ok - it's a few months away, but is anyone going to Sun-n-fun? I'm up for an Aviator chat dinner at Lakeland and we can all go over to Kermit Week's place if it is still open.

Any reports from those that attended?

What about EAA AirVenture this year? Anyone planning on that one?

A bit of trivia for y'all...

EAA founder Paul Poberezny had a few kids. One of them, Tom, has been the chairman of the organization for many years. But the lesser known offspring of Poberezny, his daughter Bonnie, married an aerobatic pilot named Bud Judy.

They lived in Texas. In fact, they lived in North Texas. In fact, they lived in Hidden Valley Airpark, which is basically in Denton, Texas. And to take it one step further, they built the house I currently own. So my claim to fame is that Bonnie Poberezny built my house, and while she lived here her dad Paul, founder of EAA, used to fly into HVAA regularly to visit. (So the older locals tell me)

Ok... it's a lame claim to fame... but we all have to have our 15 minutes, right? I've got another one, but that's for another forum. :)
