Can anyone recommend a quality source for windshield sun shades and or dash protectors. Cover Craft makes the best, (UVS100) Heat Shield but currently does not offer one for the 360. They offer a custom service however, I can't get anyone to send me their sketching kit.

Axis have one of those jobs that unfold and you place just behind the windshield and between the rearview mirror. You can get that just about anywhere.

Hard to believe no one else is concerned about protecting their leather dash and interior from the UV's!

Who's dumb enough to leave their car in the sun for any length of time?

Thank you so much for your helpful comments. Just curious, do you always get that perfectly shaded parking spot?? Do you always know exactly how long it will be sitting there? Come on bro, having a sun shield available is merely a safeguard having none is as you put it, is dumb.

I got one from Target for the 328, but it doesn't fit very good. :(

It's not so bad with the 328 because I think the dash is vinyl & not leather. I'm a bit concerned about it when I get the TR on Monday. It has a full leather dash that is known for pulling away.

I drive to work & can't avoid the sun. I am thinking of using the car cover, but I hate the hassle of that. :(

    Any suggestions?

If you don't have any helpful/constructive comments why comment. For those interested I finally received the custom order packet from CoverCraft for their heat shield http://www.covercraft.com/windshield_heat_shield.htm. Within 2-3 weeks they will have a custom fit available for your 360M.

:D The bubble Jerry, THE BUBBLE!!! :D

I got mine from Costco, but they are generic. They are the circular ones where you can fold them neatly into your seat back. They are not obtrusive like the cardboard ones. It is like a shiny silver cloth material and after you used it, twist your hands in a 8 motion and it turns into a 5" circular disk like thing. Cost was about 21 bucks. :)

Currently CoverCraft does not have one for any model Ferrari. I just received a custom order packet which includes tracing instructions. Once they receive this from me they will have the proper dims. to manufactor a custom fit shield for the 360. Contact CoverCraft Sales and ask for Ed the marketing director, he will assist you with your TR. I believe the average cost is $65.00?

Sounds like the one I got - I said I got it from Target, but now that I think about it - I think it was Costco.

The problem is it doesn't cover the whole dash - Kind of misses the middle bottom - A place I would be concerned about on the TR.

You could not just drive the TR to work. LOL. Also don't you have the car out of town for 3 more months? Is this something you need to worry about now, or did you have a change of plans?

Jerry check this place out http://www.calcarcover.com/

They are high quality, and right by my house. If you need I will grab it and personally deliver to you. :)

I feel the same way about guns. That's why I keep a 44 magnum under the seat. Ya just never know WHEN you're gonna need it!

Yah gotta drive the TR to work - It's no fun just having it sit in the garage!

What am I looking at on that site? There is a lot of things there.

I've also decided to bring it straight into Cali & fork over the tax.

Ouch on the tax. That site does a lot of car covers for custom cars. You can call them up and see if they will do something for your TR. THey have been featured on all the car mags and on car shows on tv. :)

I'm actually getting a car cover with the car. I wouldn't mind getting a sun shade though that is actually made for the car.

I wondered how long you'd last with the TR out of state! Good news...can't wait to see it.
